8 Bizarre TV Pilots That Were Doomed To Fail

1. Gay Robot

There are two main reasons why Gay Robot never became a fully-fledged television series. The first is that it was supposed to be about a gay robot that's super horny because it doesn't have any gay friends. The second is because the concept was created by Adam Sandler. Gay Robot is a comedy skit that appeared on Adam Sandler's fifth album (yeah, we live in a world where Adam Sandler reached his fifth album) titled Shhh...Don't Tell. The pilot sees Gay Robot interacting with a bunch of footballers and trying to get them to have sex with him. Gay Robot is complete with an utterly ridiculous, stereotypically flamboyant voice (just masked to sound slightly robotic). It was ordered by Comedy Central and of course, Happy Madison Productions was involved. Shhh€ Adam. Don't tell us any more about your crazy ideas for television shows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBUImjOCg5g Which of these pilots would you actually watch? Any we've missed? Let us know in the comments.
