8 Fantasy TV Cross-Overs We Need To See

8. F@!king Crime Solvers - Deb from Dexter Meets Carrie from Homeland

Carrie Deb Imagine this. The two most wide-eyed, over dramatic, foul-mouthed women on TV have to work together to solve a crime. They€™re up against the clock. A terrorist is on the run. People are being killed at random. They have to uncover the terrorist€™s plot, uncover his past and save a whole lot of people, all while dealing with personal family traumas. I€™m talking about Deb from Dexter and Carrie from Homeland. I€™ve been watching Deb from the beginning, as Jennifer Carpenter€™s character slowly came close to and then discovered her brother€™s true identity. And now I'm watching with dread as she continues to spiral out of control as a result. Homeland continues to amaze me, thanks to Claire Dane€™s riveting performance as Carrie, an expert CIA analyst struggling to handle her bi polar disorder while she gets every step closer to Abu Nazir and her twisted love for Brody. What is so brilliant about these two characters is the fact that they don€™t hold back. And they make use of the work F@!k like its an art form. Can you imagine if they had to work together? They€™re both brilliant investigators. They both fall for the wrong men€ And the scripts might be so profane that any attempt to bleep the use of the 'F word' would result is a show that has an intermittent beep every two seconds. Still there€™s no denying that these two characters together would be extremely dramatic and quite fun. Would they bond over failed love lives? Their failed careers? Or would they become the best crime-solving duo in history?
