8 Fantasy TV Cross-Overs We Need To See

1. Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock) Versus Hannibal Lecter (Hannibal)

Hannibal Sherlock Yes I know everyone talks about a Doctor Who / Sherlock crossover but would that really work? I'm not so sure. In fact, I think the brilliance of a 1000+ alien who looks like a human might tarnish the genius of The Great Detective. Plus how would the real world crimes of Sherlock (no matter how eleborate they are) compare to the alien threats of Doctor Who? Just because they are both masterminded by Stephen Moffat and co. doesn't mean they need to crossover. Now Sherlock Holmes versus Hannibal Lecter, that would be interesting. And by Doctor Lecter I am of course referring to the awesomeness that is Mads Mikkelsen and his performance as the genius cannibal serial killer from the new Hannibal TV series. Imagine what would happen if he crossed over the pond to London and took up residence there? If he had already kept Will Graham and Jack Crawford clueless to his unconventional 'tastes' (at least throughout the first series), would he be able to do the same with Sherlock? It would be an interesting game of cat and mouse, Hannibal assisting Sherlock and trying to suss out the brilliance of the lead investigator whilst committing his crimes. Sherlock putting together the clues of the cannibal killer striking the streets of London, the victims arranged spectacularly amid London landmarks. Would he realise just what Hannibal is serving in one of his many magnificent dinner parties? (Come on, tell me you haven't watched Hannibal and thought I want to eat that amazing food, no matter what the ingredients might be). Benedict Cumberbatch and Madds Mikklesen would be electric on screen. This is one TV cross over I would definitely pay to see. So interesting choices? Crazy pipe dreams? And are there other TV cross overs you would love to see? Let me know with your comments below?
