8 Fears When Watching Classic Doctor Who With Your Partner

7. Questioning

Enthusiasm is, of course, welcomed when watching any type of Doctor Who. The more enthusiastic the better! That said, sometimes those new to the world of Doctor Who may, in their enthusiasm for the wonders unfolding in front of their eyes, ask a myriad of questions, many of which will require more than a few words to answer.

Not understanding the annals of Who history is totally understandable, especially for a casual viewer or non-fan, but it's questions like "How can the TARDIS be bigger on the inside?", "What's a Time Lord?" and "Why doesn't the Doctor just run upstairs if the Daleks are chasing him?" which take a little longer to explain.

A few questions here and there are welcome and show that your partner is trying to understand something you're inherently passionate about, which is certainly commendable. It's when your significant other decides to do their best Riddler impression that it gets annoying... No sooner have you pressed play that you're asked endless questions requiring several minutes in which to give an appropriate answer.

Try not to be too tough on your sweetheart, though. They question because they love!
