3. Wonder Woman

This Wonder Woman TV series may have never made it to air, but the pilot was still bad enough to put the breaks on the character's return to live-action for several years. Starring Adrianne Palicki in a costume which looked like it came straight out of a low budget porn parody, the leaked season premiere was savaged by those who managed to get their eyes on it and ridiculed for some baffling deviations from the source material. Had this take on Wonder Woman actually been picked up, the damage would have been irreparable, but Warner Bros. lack of understanding of the character still resulted in another failed TV show on The CW and a string of failed attempts to bring her to the big screen. However, everything from the costume to the inclusion of the Invisible Plane doomed this one from the start, and NBC got literally everything about the hero wrong.
