Fans were ecstatic at the news in 2009 that Tom Baker was returning as the Doctor. Initially, he played the Fourth Doctor again in a series of three audio stories but then, in 2013, before millions of stunned eyes, he reappeared at the end of the 50th anniversary story The Day of the Doctor. At cinema showings and in homes around the world, viewers cheered out loud. At 80 years old, Tom Baker has conquered fictional worlds as diverse as Narnia and Sherwood Forest, with pit stops in places even inspired by games, like Dungeons & Dragons and Cluedo. Who knows where the future will take him? But wherever he ventures next, one thing is certain. Audiences will be there to delight in his performances. Hopefully, there will be many more of them to come. What are your favourite Tom Baker moments, post Logopolis? Let us know in the comments section.
