8 Reasons Batman Belongs On Television

3. Quality Time In The Batcave

New Batman Adventures Batgirl Robin Nightwing
DC Comics

The Batcave is simply the coolest secret lair in all of pop-culture, above any Bond villain's hideout and worlds away from the cold, minimalist aesthetic of Superman's Fortress of Solitude. It's got super computers, a T-Rex, a giant penny, a Bat-Vehicle auto shop, a spacious walk-in closet full of Bat-Suits, and probably a really nice break room with a cappuccino machine.

One of the things that makes the Batcave such an intersting setting is the fact Bruce feels more at home there than he does in the family mansion directly above it. It would be great to see a new version of the Batcave where you can see why Bruce would want to spend all of his time down there.

More recent iterations of the Batcave have been a bit Spartan and minimalistic, like a moody Apple store. And while it probably shouldn't be as colorful and swingin' as Adam West's, it should strike a perfect balance of function and style.
