8 Reasons Why You Should Binge Superstore On Netflix

6. It Has A Good Story That Has Plenty Of Surprises To Offer

The story of Superstore is largely about people that work in the same vicinity as one another and therefore the humour derives from their social interactions with one another and the audience.

Away from the day to day dreariness of the job, the relationships that the cast share is complex and often wildly inappropriate. As a character-driven series, it is subject to multiple plot threads all at once and actually does a remarkable job of keeping everything together in balance without promoting one story over another.

There are genuinely fun twists and turns that you don't see coming along the huge journey that they go on, as well as a carefully set-up premise that uses all the incidents that seem banal to prop up the finale of each season.

Like Seinfeld before it, Superstore uses every tiny moment to advance the story and connect a far wider narrative together when you least expect it. For something that has arrived during an era of reality TV that can consume an audience for days at a time, Superstore managed to go under the radar, but once discovered it's hard not to binge watch.
