6. Daryl Dixon Fans Tend To Be Annoying As All Hell

Speaking of the Daryl Dixon fan club, it's about time someone stated just how obnoxious this group can be. It's fine to like Daryl. It's even okay to love him like he was a real person. (Television is all about escapism, after all.) What's unacceptable is to heave your glowing praise of him onto everyone else's plate and make them take a giant, heaping bite before you're willing to drop the subject and move onto literally anything else. Not all fans are this way, of course. But there's a large chunk of super fans that cast a rather substantial shadow over the character, embracing him like he was the fifth Beatle, or the sixth member of One Direction. It really is that kind of shrieking, over-the-top fandom with Daryl. And, for the most part, they seem unwilling to accept the fact that there are some--hell, any--flaws in the character. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that most Daryl fans only clicked on this article so they could immediately scroll to the bottom of the page and tell me what an idiot I am for trying to poke holes in their ideal man. And I'd be downright shocked if any hardcore fans even made it past the first couple of critiques to read this.
