5. Closure For Naomi's Family Drama
A large amount of time was dedicated to Naomi and her son Filip in Season Five which provided a huge emotional arc for Naomi and the opportunity for Dominique Tipper to show off her acting range. It was predominantly good material and helped to shade Marco as a villain connected to our protagonists as well as sufficiently developing Filip's conflicted feelings about his parents.
That being said, now that Naomi is separated from them once again, we need a strong conclusive closing finish to their familial dispute. Marco is the primary antagonist of the show and he is yet to even share a conversation with primary protagonist Jim Holden. The show could easily fall into the mistake of focusing on those kind of meetings over the already established dynamic between Naomi and Marco and Filip.
Not to say Holden shouldn't meet Marco, but Naomi has to be the focus here. The relationship between Naomi and Filip is likely to be crucial in the final episodes of the show and it is exciting to see where it all leads.
