3. The Free Navy's Plan For Ring Gates
Marco Inaros' whole life's work has been to achieve a free and independent Belt from the Inners at all costs. He said multiple times during the fifth season that the Ring Gates should belong to the Belt but what exactly is his plan for them? Flying his Free Navy through the U.N. blockade at the end of the season and claiming the rings as his are a significant victory in his war, but it seems unlikely he'll just fortify a defensive position and do nothing with his new conquest for all of Season Six.
Is Marcos planning something with the new Martian faction and the Protomolecule? Probably not given his final conversation with Sauveterre, so how does controlling the Ring Gates benefit the rest of the Belt?
Marco is going to be a driving narrative focus for this final season and it seems incredibly unlikely that the main antagonist of the show has played all his cards. The man has proven himself somewhat of a tactical genius so it'll be interesting to see what else he has up his sleeve and how it'll involve the alien Ring Gates.
