8 True Blood Characters Who Deserved A Better Ending

6. Jason

true-blood-episode-31-Ryan-Kwanten-photo-Doug-Hyun-hbo-600x300 Jason, as a character, went on a massive journey. He went from sleeping with any female that happened to pass through Bon Temps, to showing great restraint and a desperation for a family. It was perhaps a surprising choice of direction, but one welcome nevertheless. What we didn€™t like about his ending was the fact that his relationship with Jessica was touted for four of the seven seasons, and it didn€™t really amount to much at all in the end. Jessica couldn€™t give Jason the family he so wanted, but surely somewhere along the lines vampire and human couples could have adopted? It€™s not so much a stretch of the imagination, and surely extending the possibilities of logic would have made for a more satisfying ending than the one he got? So how did Jason€™s story end? Well he reversed back to prototype and shacked up with Hoyt€™s woman (again). Maybe this could have been accepted if Hoyt had returned earlier and Jason€™s relationship with Bridgette was given more time to blossom. Their relationship, like that of Hoyt and Jessica, was much rushed in order to give the fans the closure that they (now) apparently didn€™t want at all. Hoyt need not have returned, and Jason and Jessica could be happy. There€™s was a relationship that the majority of fans wanted, and their not ending up together annoyed a lot of people.
