8 Ways DC Could Actually Save Titans

2. Show Some Self-Awareness

Although Titans' problem with tone have been well documented by now, it needs to find a way of addressing these issues further down the line. Show an element of self-awareness at the earliest opportunity - much like TheCW's Legends of Tomorrow has - and the sooner it can put all this silliness behind it.

Titans' tonal issues are exacerbated by the fact this kind of adaptation has already been mocked... by the Titans themselves! An entire episode of Teen Titans Go! (called Let's Get Serious), is all about how silly comic book adaptations can look when they take themselves too seriously, which is precisely what's happening with the upcoming series.

The fact DC actually have an episode that satirises the tone of their last few adaptations is hilarious enough, but the fact that it's the Titans doing the mocking makes it even more brilliant in light of the new series' big unveiling.

The only way to really fix this is to hit it on the nose right off the bat, because the show's already in need of a complete course correction.
