6. A Larger World Is On The Horizon
Like it or not, the world of The Walking Dead is growing. A new spin-off is on the way in spring next year, the Rick solo movie is about to begin filming, and the mythos of the large community(s) CRM is beginning to become a huge part of the show’s lore and future. A massive crossover looks to be on the horizon for the franchise, and naturally you may assume it could be the big endgame for it all.
We already know a few titbits about CRM. It’s three communities, with one letter standing for a different place. The ‘M’ is Monument, the new location in the upcoming spin-off show. The ‘C’ could be the Commonwealth, a city of survivors from the comics. They are presumably the people on the radio in the Season 9 finale, and a place we may be seeing very soon. The third ‘R’ is unknown, but could have something to do with the Rick movies or the characters met in Fear the Walking Dead.
While the mystery is very tightly packed for now, the number of characters involved with this crossover is growing by the year, meaning something big and exciting is certainly on the horizon.
