8 Worst TV Shows Starring Doctor Who Actors

1. Selfie

After becoming an honorary household name for her praised portrayal of Amy Pond in Doctor Who, Karen Gillan set her sights on conquering the coveted realms of the US and she came pretty close to doing it when she was cast in her very own sitcom. Which then totally sucked. Selfie featured the Scottish star doing all sorts of silly things in the name of "comedy" as she took on the leading role of Eliza Dooley, a self-confessed social media fiend who enlisted the services of marketing rep Henry Higgs to rebrand her tarnished image after a video of her embarrassing break up went viral. Hashtag the shame. Perhaps even more shameful, however, is the fact that the show only managed to airi 6 of its proposed 24 episodes before ABC pulled the plug on it indefinitely. Looking on the bright side, though, it's better to have had and lost a sitcom than to never have had a sitcom at all. They say that, right? What did you think of this list? Are there any other awful TV shows starring Doctor Who actors that should've been included? Join the conversation in the comments section below!
