9 Doctor Who Actors You Didn't Know Could Sing

9. Bonnie Langford

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Un6hYPNPpac Bonnie Langford has become somewhat of a Doctor Who legend... and not necessarily for the right reasons. She stepped aboard the TARDIS as the Sixth Doctor's sidekick Mel Bush back in 1986 (in the extremely underrated Season 23 serial Terror of the Vervoids) and is widely cited as the show's worst companion in history owing to the fact that she really didn't do all that much and was generally just plain annoying when she did. Sorry, Mel. The scripts didn't do you justice. Bonnie left the Whoniverse just little over a year later, in Dragonfire, and you'll be pleased to hear that she went on to bigger and better things. She's appeared in the West End and on Broadway in countless productions - including Peter Pan: The Musical, Cats, Chicago and, most recently, Spamalot and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - and in June she'll be setting her sights on Walford for a guest stint in EastEnders. She probably won't do much singing in that, but stranger things have happened on Albert Square.
