9 Doctor Who Actors You Didn't Know Could Sing

8. Sheridan Smith

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57oGcUUBg1E Sheridan Smith has established herself as one of the most diverse actresses working in Britain today but Doctor Who fans will always remember her as the Eighth Doctor's fiesty companion Lucie Miller in the Big Finish audio adventures. Away from the Whoniverse, Sheridan has been keeping herself more than busy over the last few years with countless reputable roles on the screen and stage, most notably her West End portrayal of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde for which she won the coveted Best Actress in a Musical prize at the 2011 Olivier Awards. If her theatrical tenure as the courageous Californian sorority girl wasn't enough to showcase her musical talent, last year she was seen singing her heart out as the lead role in ITV's biopic Cilla in which she belted out some of the Scouse singer's most iconic hits including Anyone Who Had a Heart and You're My World. She's been nominated at this year's BAFTAs for her praised performance.
