Another set of gods that should not be on the list. The Ori are an ascended, non-corporeal race with access to literally the universe of knowledge. If you were a betting man, you would say that they were smart. And in that assumption, you would be dead wrong. Admittedly, the Ori did not make many mistakes they built a "supergate" right under the noses of Stargate Command, impregnated a member of SG-1 with an Ori hybrid, turned planet after planet to Origin and gained many followers in our part of the universe in a relatively short period of time. But (and there always is one) they didn't have a back-up power source. The Ori power comes from the energy released through total, unequivocal submission of those on this plane of existence, through acts such as prayer. If I were a god with infinite knowledge, the first thing that I would do is figure out an energy source that did not rely on the devotion of humans. Yet I guess they never thought about it too hard, seeing as they had the power to obliterate planets that refused to believe. But still, they're eventually wiped out when the SG-1 team finds the Ark of Truth, technology that allows people to see the truth, and that truth is that the Ori are not gods. How could they be? If they didn't foresee this happening (a piece of technology seemingly tailor-made to destroy them) and didn't come up with an alternate power source or at least a back-up plan, then surely, they're not very godly.
