3. Kate Phillips Is Certainly No Dead-Ringer For Jane Seymour

Paintings of Henry VIII's third wife Jane Seymour are certainly not flattering - she is depicted as having a double chin, a huge forehead and thin, pursed lips. However, the actress who plays her in Wolf Hall - Kate Phillips - does not resemble any of those features. In fact, she has one chin, a normal forehead - and is pretty. Although paintings can never accurately portray the exact appearance of a person, Phillips is certainly no resemblance to the only physical evidence that exists to suggest exactly what Jane Seymour looked like.
