If you're going to have a little bit of fun with easter eggs in your TV shows, why not combine two of the largest and most impressive titles that have hit screens with a cheeky shared universe nod? Everything is connected anyway, nowadays, so you might as well get ahead of the crazy theories and stick a giant bag of meth in yourself, as the old saying goes.

And a giant bag of meth it is in The Walking Dead, all but confirming its connection to Breaking Bad with the distinctive Sky Blue crystals lurking at the bottom of Merle's stash in season 2, episode 2 of the show. If that wasn't enough to convince you on the subject, the Daryl's comment later in the season is enough to tip the scales, stating that "Merle had this dealer. A janky little white guy. A tweaker" - sounds a lot like Jesse Pinkman, no? Especially when he quotes him when describing an altercation: "Then he pulls a gun, sticks it right here. He says, 'I'm gonna kill you, bitch.'"

Even if all that feels coincidental, a straight up confirmation from The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman is really enough to firmly seal the deal. There's even a great theory that the meth is the cause of the zombie apocalypse in the first place, which is pretty wild to say the least.
