Yes, the Cybermen barely feature in this sensational episode, but at least they aren't defeated by love. The Twelfth Cyber Legion are introduced in this episode - and promptly vanquished. They bring nothing to the story, and are only included because A Good Man Goes To War served as the mid-series finale. However their appearance does allow Rory to become ruthless and demand answers. This was another wasted opportunity though. The Twelfth Cyber Legion appeared to have amassed a grand army, something which could have recurred. Viewers werent given answers to how this army had grown, why, or why the Cybermen were simply monitoring the area of space rather than trying to convert it. Surely an awesome battle episode could have ensured between the Doctor and the Cybermen? Sadly not. The Doctor blows the Cyber Legion out of space despite being nowhere near - something which he was unable to do when his friend Craig was nearly converted. Yeah, that seems plausible
