9 Questions About Archer Season 6

7. Can Malory And Ron Save Their Marriage?

In her considerable lifespan, Malory has built up a pretty substantial track record of flings. There€™s no telling exactly how long her list of ex-lovers stretches on for, but several we can be sure of are ex-KGB leader Nikolai Jakov, €™80s hero Burt Reynolds, and automobile mogul Ron Cadillac. The latter has been her most successful coupling of late, and the pair€™s marriage has become a successfully integrated facet to her character. With the advent of Vice, the bliss of matrimony began to crumble, culminating in Ron leaving Malory and her drug ring in a fit of exasperation, not long after getting shot by a member of the Yakuza. Our last sight of Ron was him shambling out of the team€™s hideout mansion, supposedly breaking things off with his wife by announcing that she would soon be receiving her fur coats in the mail. Damn, that€™s cold. Nevertheless, there€™s still hope for the future: Malory later confided to her agents that the pair were going through marriage counselling in an attempt to salvage their relationship. That said, since the two are also trying an open marriage (and now that Ron supposedly has the hots for Cheryl and Pam), the status of this union remains up in the air. Hopefully Ron will return in 2015 along with the other main players; he provided an extra shot-in-the-arm to the character arcs of Season 4, and his uneasy relationship with Sterling became one of the show€™s most enjoyable features. It€™d also be a hoot to watch as the couple undergo counselling, and to delve deeper into Malory€™s romantic history. Could this lead to some sort of wrinkly love triangle with ODIN€™s Len Drexler? It€™s a tantalising - and nauseating - prospect.
