9 Reasons Ash Vs. Evil Dead Is Better Than The Walking Dead
9. A More Focused Plot
Thus far in Ash vs. Evil Dead, the plot has been surprisingly focused: at it's core, the series has been a chase show, with Ash and his co-worker pals more or less on the run, trying to deal with the Necronomicon and the Deadites Ash unwittingly released during a drug-fueled haze. Sure, there's a subplot about a cop coming face to face with the armies of darkness, a love interest in Kelley for Ash's pal Pablo, and Lucy Lawless trying to track Ash down (with his dearly departed meat hook in tow). However the main storyline is all about setting things right and sending the deadites back to their home dimension. It's a heck of a lot more focused than The Walking Dead, which seems to just shamble along from set piece to set piece with no end in sight.
