8. Go Back To Cardiff Where It Belongs
You're all thinking it! "Croeso y Cymru", and all that jazz. Wales is where Torchwood was proudly conceived and it just wasn't the same when the show left its comfortable Cardiff confines as part of its mission to dominate planet Earth. It's always the quiet ones. After all, there was just something so original and charming about a team of alien busting Earth defenders secretly working in an underground headquarters underneath Cardiff Bay. You could even go as far as to say that the whimsical Welsh setting was the show's defining factor - it's unique selling point which affirmed Torchwood as such a formidable beast amidst the competitive realms of the televisual market. Now it's making the transition to audio it'll be easier for Torchwood than ever before to pretend that they're anywhere and everywhere from here to Timbuktu, but let's hope that its slapdash senior moment of wanting to conquer the entire world has passed. If it ain't broken, don't fix it! Or rather, break it, realise the error of your ways four years later and then fix it again. Nobody will ever know.
