9 Things That Must Happen In The New Series Of Torchwood

7. Restore The Base To Its Former Glory

Because Torchwood's all about that base, 'bout that base, pterodactyl. Bringing the team back to Cardiff for the new audio series would be all well and good and everything but let's not forget that their beloved base wouldn't be waiting for them when/if they get there, since it got unforgivably blown to smithereens during the third series. What was that about!? It was pretty dramatic at the time of course, but back then fans had no reason to believe that the untimely destruction of their homely headquarters would actually signal the end of Torchwood as they knew it. Jack & Co would find a new Welsh base at the end of Children of Earth, peace would be restored and everything would go back to normal, you'll see! But hold on, what's Jack doing up on that hill?! No, why is he teleporting away?! Time will be reversed or something and they'll all be back sipping lattes in familiar territory before you know it and... Oh, wait. The end credits roll and Torchwood is effectively dead. Damn. Speaking of time being reversed, though, that would certainly be the most plausible way to bring the team back to Cardiff and their base. Setting the audio series in the past - like, before their whole entire world got reduced to dust and ashes - would be a surefire way to satisfy the fans as the majority of us are just waiting for an excuse to go back to the glory days. And just think of who/what else could come back, too! The possibilities would be endless.
