4. Star Trek The Original Series
Star Trek had an amazing couple of seasons. Characters were established, they developed some back story and kept the stories strong and interesting. The first two seasons are outstanding even today (given with the odd misstep, but most good shows have the odd dodgy episode), however between seasons 2 & 3 the show was cancelled. It was only through the hard work of avid fans of the show that it returned to screens for one final season. However, this return to our screens was done on a budget, half the budget. The aesthetics are pretty much the same but the story is very dodgy in places, with Lots of episodes with 20th century characters who happen to be around (which in itself leads to poor story) and significantly fewer non-human aliens, so there were fewer varying story-lines. However one thing I will say is that it has some good episodes mid-season, but it is the weakest of the three. But when you are having characters which are claiming to be Leonardo Da Vinci and Abraham Lincoln in an episode you are indeed far from home.
