9 TV Shows You Can Binge-Watch In A Weekend

4. Great News

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, Great News is one of the most underrated sitcoms of the past ten years.

Produced by Tina Fey, Great News is set in the world of TV news as a young producer named Katie tries to make a name for herself. Unfortunately, a new intern starts causing her problems in her new job. That intern is her mother. It's not the best circumstances to try and build a career under.

The series was applauded for a solid, well executed premise that was filled with great laughs, due in no small part to great casting. One of their best choices was bringing in the legendary Lily Tomlin to play Carol, Katie's mom. Great News grew a devoted fan base but not a big enough one to justify more than two seasons. If you didn't watch the first time, Netflix is a great second chance.
