4. The One With MY EYES!

Speaking of banter, the gang's recreation of a scene from The One Where Everybody Finds Out was superb. Grandiose. Chef's kiss.

The scene in question is, of course, where Ross, Phoebe, and Rachel are checking out Ugly Naked Guy's apartment, which Ross is planning to move in to. While he's filling out an application form and Rachel is in the bathroom, Phoebe spots Monica and Chandler in the apartment opposite making out and taking each other's clothes off. Cue "MY EYES!", before Rachel reveals that she and Joey already know.

Lisa Kudrow's portrayal of this in the makeshift table read is one of the best things you'll see this year. She acted as if this was an actual table read, or even an actual episode. Delivering the lines with blissful perfection, Kudrow's performance was backed up by an equally great performance by Jennifer Anniston and David Schwimmer.

As David Crane and Marta Kauffman discussed, the original plan for Monica and Chandler's relationship wasn't that. The pair sleeping together in London was originally intended to be a one-off; the London audience's reaction to the revelation is what changed the plans drastically, leading to one of television's greatest relationships.

To think, if Londoners hadn't approved of that scene, we would never have seen Kudrow's exquisite performance upon finding out.
