Doctor Who: The Star Beast Review - 9 Ups And 3 Downs

1. UP - A New TARDIS

They’ve redecorated – and we love it.

Somehow managing to look retro and futuristic at the same time, this expansive new interior flexes its new budget to the max, with its wibbly-wobbly walkways, LED mood lighting, and squeaky clean aesthetic. Also, the round things are back – love the round things!

It might not be for everybody, but this is an interior that's a little more timeless, and less reflective of the era, plus we can see potential for a lot more shot variation in here – so much space to work with. The ability to match the TARDIS lighting to the mood of the scene made Thirteen’s interior a lot more dynamic and we’re pleased to see that return this time around too.

If you’re not sold, a closing argument: coffee machine. That is all.
