Agent Carter: Ranking The Characters Worst To Best

4. Dottie Underwood

Played By: Bridget Regan Similar to how the show slickly tied Fennhoff into the story of Zola, the Winter Soldier, and the reemergence of HYDRA, the inclusion of the Russian assassin "Dottie Underwood" tied nicely into the backstory of Natasha Romanoff, with concepts like the Red Room Academy and the Black Widow program being explored a bit deeper than we'll likely ever see in the movies. As such, Dottie served as a good foil for Peggy; slick, lethal, and without the capacity for empathy that helps keep the latter grounded. Regan did a solid job of bouncing back and forth between the assassin's cold and calculated persona and the golly-gee farm girl identity she adopted to blend in, and it was nice to see her escape the season to fight another day. Though Peggy's headed to Hollywood for season two and set to clash with Madame Masque, Dottie will still be returning in some capacity, so fans can look forward to seeing what she's got up her sleeve now and whether or not she'll be making it personal after being beaten by Peggy the first time around.
