Agents Of SHIELD: 15 MCU Characters Who Realistically Could Still Appear

Introduced in the Marvel One-Shot Item 47, the opportunistic pair of Benny and Claire haven't been seen since, despite where the short film left them. The One-Shot featured Agent Sitwell and also introduced Titus Welliver's Agent Blake, who made the jump to Agents of SHIELD during its first season. Considering Sitwell's true allegiance to HYDRA, his recruitment of Benny and Claire into SHIELD - the former brought into research and development, the latter assigned as Blake's assistant - raises a number of questions about what's happened to the duo in the time since. With Benny having worked on advancing Chitauri weaponry unknowingly for HYDRA, Claire's boss Blake's fate still unknown after his run-in with Deathlok and the dissolution of SHIELD in The Winter Soldier, the pair could be in hiding, captives, dead or otherwise. For the sake of making each part of the MCU count and truly feel cohesive, bringing two characters who got an entire One-Shot devoted to them back just for resolution, if even for an episode, would be cool for fans of what Marvel has done. With Lizzy Caplan and Jesse Bradford both far from against appearing on television, it seems all too easy for the series to give the pair one more chance to shine.
