Agents Of SHIELD: 15 MCU Characters Who Realistically Could Still Appear
7./6./5. Hogun, Fandral & Volstagg
In a perfect world, the adventures of the Warriors Three and Sif would be at home in their own Agent Carter-esque miniseries or One-Shot. As it stands, though, the loyal trio has been limited to minor screentime in both Thor films, with the recasting of Fandral (from Josh Dallas, above, with Zachary Levi) between the two outings likely going by unnoticed by the general public. When it comes to Agents of SHIELD, it's understandable why (so far, at least): they aren't frequently dealing with characters from other realms and the galaxy at large. Though Sif chased Lorelei to Earth in the show's first season, Thor's fellow Asgardians didn't tag along. With Thor presumably preoccupied with Jane Foster until Age of Ultron and his next appearance coming in Thor: Ragnarok in 2017, the arrival of one, two or all three of the group on Earth for some sort of secret mission and pointed by Sif to Coulson for assistance would serve a dual purpose. On one hand, it would give fans the chance to spend more time in the company of these characters in dire need of attention; on the other, it'd give them the opportunity to clue viewers in to what's been going on in Asgard since Loki began masquerading as Odin back in 2013. Scheduling all three for a unified television appearance when they all have very active careers might be a bit difficult, but taking into account their prior television work, particularly Levi and Ray Stevenson, the arrival of any of them on Agents of SHIELD would be a pleasure so long as the story is done right.
