2. Someone Entirely Original
Fans speculated the heck out of the Clairvoyant during the course of season one and it turned out to be someone entirely original that didn't appear in the comics. After they chased theories about a psychic character being introduced, it was revealed that it was actually just John Garrett who was able to pretend to be psychic because of his high level SHIELD access while being backed by HYDRA. Skyes parents therefore could be absolutely anyone although the scarring seen on screen probably means that it isn't a character already seen as was the case with Garrett. It also has to be remembered that there isn't a Marvel film coming out during the second season of Agents of SHIELD until April 23 when the Avengers sequel comes out. This means that there wont be anything coming along like Captain America: The Winter Soldier that could drastically change the plot. Marvel are now acutely aware of the effects that the films will have on the TV series, although the changes brought in by the most recent Cap film really took the show to new heights. Season two will see an unburdened show for at least fifteen episodes that will be able to go entirely in its own direction, except for where there is potential set-up for the second Avengers film.
