Agents Of Shield: 8 Things That Will Need To Change After Captain America 2

2. Nick Fury's Adventures In Europe

At the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Nick Fury goes into hiding in order to investigate HYDRA in Europe. These adventures won't be seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron next year, and since there isn't time to create a solo Nick Fury film before then you can expect to see Nick Fury crop up on several occasions during the second season of Agents of SHIELD. Samuel L. Jackson has already made one appearance in the show as Nick Fury, so it's fair to assume that he'll be happy to make more. If the writers plan far enough ahead, then they should be able to film scenes for a number of his episodes together at once allowing him to appear more often. Or if the producers really want to surprise the fans, then simply add him to the list of main characters for the second season. That may provide a boost to the show and cause more of the film's audience to tune in (and previous fans to give it a second chance). Naturally, if Nick Fury's trip to Europe is covered in Agents of SHIELD, then it can be expected that Hydra will be the main adversary for the second season. This would make a great deal of sense, as Fury is going to need some backup in his fight there. With SHIELD gone, this would provide a direction to the second season that the show would naturally otherwise lack. Plus, there is the added bonus that right now the fans really want to see more of Nick Fury. It's a win-win situation for everyone involved.
