Amazon's Fallout TV Show: 10 Things Fans Need To See

4. Black Humour

Of the weirdest and darkest kind...it's a Super, Duper, Duper mart!

From Vault-Tec's laughably simple in-game videogames to the skeletons arranged in ludicrous positions, there's plenty of dark humour to the Fallout games.

The Vault Boy's gurning smile is everywhere, and has become a symbol of the game's delicate balance of humour and the horror of the wasteland. Abandoned computer terminals detail a poor downtrodden employee's battle with pointless red tape, and there's the sheer ridiculous nature of a portable nuclear weapon, AKA the fat man. From a legion of plungers adorning a toilet cubicle to the hilarious primitive conversation options of low intelligence characters, there are plenty of laughs in Fallout. OK, maybe not laughs; more like knowing smirks, or pained grimaces. But, hey, you gotta lighten the mood any way you can, right?

And just what are all those teddy bears up to?

Graeme Mason hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
