Amazon's Fallout TV Show: 10 Things Fans Need To See

3. Hope

Despite the devastation and disaster, there is always hope.

As the introductory scenes in the Fallout games usually espouse: war, war, never changes. Mankind, since it first realised that rocks actually made pretty decent weapons, has killed and been killed for a myriad of reasons. When the ultimate form of destruction finally occurred at the end of The Great War, it was no doubt assumed that humans had finally done what they always promised to do, and self-destructed.

Only there is hope. Life finds a way, and it persists. It may be drastically different; it may be much harder; and it almost certainly is more violent, but it is there.

Throughout the communities of Diamond City, Megaton, Foundation and beyond, hard-working citizens are attempting to carve out a worthwhile existence in the poisoned wastes, by bartering, trading and selling whatever they can.

It's not often an easy life, but it's life. And there's always hope, Amazon.
