Factions have always formed a core principal of Fallout and are a natural inclusion for Amazon's show. The beauty of most of the groups in the games is that they are rarely simply good or bad, with a variety of shades between light and dark.
Except raiders. They're just bastards.
Throughout all the games, the player often needs to make decisions that please one faction, yet alienate another. Trust levels affect the reception the player receives wherever they go, from welcomed with open arms to shot on sight. Obviously the TV show will follow a pre-ordained path throughout these machinations - but which faction will the show's main character demonstrate most affection for?
Everyone has a favourite. But the most idiosyncratic of factions is The Brotherhood Of Steel, the self-serving armour-clad defenders of the wasteland, determined to retrieve and protect technology - at any cost. Ad Victoriam!
