8. Stan's Best Friend
Stan is haunted by the loss of his childhood dog and so forbids his family from ever getting another one. When Steve returns home one day with an adorable new puppy, then, it initially doesn't sit well with the stubborn patriarch.
This puppy is named Kisses, and, despite his best efforts, Stan becomes completely enamoured with him - just in time for him to be critically injured in a road accident.
Unable to accept Kisses' fate, Stan drives the dying dog across the country to a psychotic surgeon who promises that she can save his life. And save it, she does... but only technically.
Kisses is now kept alive by a car battery trailing behind him. His eyes have been replaced by his testicles, his head by a baseball mitt, and his skin is wrinkled and stitched together in a way that suggests anything but a living thing.
The sight is truly haunting, and will live with you long after you watch the episode. At least Stan eventually has the good sense to blow up the poor pup with dynamite and put him out of his misery.
