American Dad: Ranking Every Main Character Worst To Best

9. Snot Lonstein

Just like Bart Simpson had Milhouse van Houten, Steve Smith has an equally pathetic best friend in Snot Lonstein. No one could ever go so far as to call Steve cool, but next to Snotters, he at least doesn't seem quite so bad by comparison.

On the high school hierarchy, Snot comes dead last thanks to his almost intimate relationship with Steve, the fact that his family is incredibly poor, and that his actual first name is Schmuely.

Though best friends with Steve since they were toddlers, they have been on the verge of falling out many times. When Snot stole Steve's 80 year old girlfriend, when he bragged about having sex with Roger's Jenny Fromdabloc persona, and when he became best friends with Stan all put strains on their young friendship, but they always came back to each other, with their bond made stronger than ever.

Snot centric storylines aren't the most common thing throughout American Dad, but they usually highlight how depressing his life is in some way, shape or form. In spite of all his hardships however, he is still a relatively happy child, and always good for a laugh in any episode he is featured.
