American Horror Story: 10 Best Minor Characters

7. Cricket Marlowe

Leslie Jordan has appeared in three seasons of the show to date, and whilst his appearances in Coven, Roanoke and 1984 have all been fairly minor, he never fails to stand out and steal the show with his unique characters.

Roanoke's Cricket Marlowe might just be the most important and showcased of these, being introduced as a New Orleans native and one of the finest mediums in the world. Flamboyant and self-assured, he comes in as a beacon of hope for the Millers, promising to help them find their missing daughter and his personality is so convincing more than a few audience members might have been convinced he was the man to do so.

His playfulness was completely stripped away during his death at the hands of Ambrose White and the Lost Colony however, in what was perhaps the most gruesome scene in the entire season.

What's more, there are numerous rumours and theories swirling about that claim Cricket Marlowe could in fact even be the Leslie's character in Coven, the Warlock Quentin Fleming. Admittedly this wouldn't be the most earth-shattering of revelations the show has ever produced, but it would be a nice nod and a further confirmation that Ryan Murphy's worlds are all connected.
