American Horror Story: 10 Interesting Theme Ideas For Future Seasons

10. Civil War

Fans have suggested that Season 6 of American Horror Story be titled "Civil War", with it set between 1861-1865. The war resolved two fundamental questions left unresolved by the revolution: whether the United States was to be a dissolvable confederation of sovereign states or an indivisible nation with a sovereign national government; and whether America, born of a declaration that all men were created with an equal right to liberty, would continue to exist as the largest slaveholding country in the world. But what would make it the perfect "horror story", you ask? Well, for a start, there are the horrors of war, then stories of ghosts, axe murders and other superstitious tales told by the folk that were involved in it. It would take the series further into the past than it has ever been before and it would be an interesting (and new) take on the show.
