American Horror Story: 10 Saddest Deaths

7. Meep

Freak Show - the show's fourth season - is home to a vibrant ensemble that viewers would spend their time getting to know. One character which audiences wouldn't become as well acquainted with, however, was Meep (Ben Woolf).

Part of Elsa Mars's sideshow attraction, Meep is the embodiment of innocence. During the brief time viewers are acquainted with him, it's clear from his child-like and sweet tendencies that this person wouldn't be capable of harming anyone - let alone being a serial killer.

Unfortunately for poor Meep, he finds himself a victim of circumstance. It turns out that Evan Peters' Jimmy Darling was the one who killed the missing detective and tried to frame the villainous Del. But Del caught on to Jimmy's plans and planted the evidence on Meep instead.

Dragged from his trailer still in full costume, Meep is taken to the local jail by the investigators and thrown in a cell.

But Meep wouldn't survive the night.

As soon as the investigators leave, Meep is immediately surrounded by his cellmates who violently beat him to death, believing him to be the killer.

The next time audiences see Meep is when his battered body is dumped outside the freak show.
