Season: Freak Show Out of every character in the AHS anthology, Pepper has probably been dealt with the worst card in life. After her 'husband' Salty is murdered, she is taken to live at her sister's house where she is neglected and seen as a burden. Despite everyone's ill wishes on Pepper, she is extremely innocent and playful and she really doesn't deserve what happens to her. But neither does her equally innocent nephew... Her nephew, Lucas, is also disfigured and seen as a burden by his parents, Pepper's sister and husband, Rita and Larry. Embarrassed and ashamed by the both of them, Larry concocts a plan to get get rid of them both and he plants evidence that Pepper is responsible for infanticide. The poor child is murdered by his own father and his auntie is blamed for his death, because who would miss or defend a couple of freaks?
