Season: Asylum If Shelley had been tortured by the Nazi doctor and kept in the seclusion of the asylum, would her death still have been as dramatic? No, because look at her and she was exposed to poor, innocent children in a playground and it was absolutely horrific. The experiments that Doctor Arden performed on her were brutal, unnecessary and done without a conscience; after all, he was a Nazi. He was warped and although he saw himself as a Promethean figure, he was more of a monster than the creatures that he created in his laboratory. But because Shelley stood up for herself and rejected Arden, she was forced to endure an obscene amount of torture before she died. Her death is by far the most memorable out of AHS to date and the elongation of itjust made it even more brutal. Which AHS character do you think had the most dramatic death?
