Apocalypse has given us many things, but its greatest gift so far has been the re-introduction of the Coven characters. Similarly, one of the highlights from this particular episode is that it gives viewers the opportunity to get re-acquainted the Murder House characters – characters that hold a special place in our hearts considering they are very first individuals we met in this American Horror Story shared universe.

For AHS fans, this episode is akin to being a kid in a candy store. Having the opportunity to see the likes of Tate, Violet, Ben, Vivien, Moira and of course Constance is everything we could've imagined it to be, especially considering it was something that we've been hoping for for quite some time. In fact, the whole episode is incredibly reminiscent of the first season of the show, and you'd be forgiven for thinking you were watching an episode of Murder House had you flicked it on halfway through.

Crystal Liu’s exceptional script peppers all of the character re-introductions throughout, as the viewers walk the hallways of the Murder House vicariously through Madison and Chablis, both of whom are experiencing this creepy home for the first time. The writer ensures not to give us too much at once, which makes for a highly entertaining hour, as our old friends could've popped up at any given moment.
