It's evident that the central theme of this season is the battle between good and evil. Whether the characters are doing despicable things to other like March or destroying themselves like Sally, the idea that redemption can save them is evident. Well, maybe not for March, he's still pretty evil. The Ten Commandments of the Old Testament are presented in the opening credits and they are also clues for how and why characters are being murdered. But who exactly is the Ten Commandments Killer? It has to be someone who can escape the hotel because as far as we're aware, those who are dead aren't able to leave the Hotel so that rules out Sally and March. Could John Lowe be the killer? He seems like the only person who has access to the hotel and to the outside world who could pull it off. And if we take into account the theory about his dual personalities, could he be continuing March's reign of terror outside of the hotel for him? It has to be someone who possesses the knowledge of how to commit a murder without being caught and seeing as how Lowe is a detective, this theory could pan out. The other options are that the killer is the Countess or March, but they both seem too obvious as well all know that Murphy likes to keep us guessing...
