American Horror Story: Ranking Every Evan Peters Character From Worst To Best
6. Rory Monahan
While Peters has portrayed a number of characters in a single season before, his reasoning for doing so in Roanoke was quite different. Initially, he played the fictionalised version of Edward Phillipe Mott during the 'My Roanoke Nightmare' documentary-style section of the season, before subsequently portraying the 'actor' behind Mott, Rory Monahan.
Although his appearances in Roanoke were far and few between, Rory proved to be a bundle of joy. The character appeared in only a handful of episodes, but he was instantly likeable, boasting a larger-than-life personality. He also possessed a genuine warmth that we don't often see in American Horror Story, and his unadulterated love for wife Audrey Tindall was perhaps his most loveable quality.
Rory's demise came far too early - especially considering Edward Phillipe Mott's appearances were equally as short - but we're thankful we had the opportunity to meet the character in the first place. Roanoke was made slightly less scary by having such a lively character in its midst.
