Archer: 10 CRAZY Cheryl Moments

Initially, Barry was an annoying rival agent that Archer always seemed to get one over on. That was until the end of the second season, when after being once again injured by Archer, Barry returns as a cyborg monstrosity hell-bent on murdering Archer.

By the third season, Barry became head of the KGB and, in the tenth episode “Crossing Over”, hunted down the former KGB leader and likely Sterling’s father Nicolai Jakov (and yes, if his interactions with Malory are anything to go by, that name is 100% intentional). With Nicolai being hidden in a safehouse, Barry uses Cheryl as a dim-witted assailant to track down Jakov.

Her initial obliviousness to Barry’s role as the leader of the KGB makes for a fun watch, as the sinister cyborg convinces her to take him to the ISIS safehouse for some undoubtably disgusting hanky-panky.

The real gem of this episode comes when Barry asks if he can “see her neck for a second”. Cheryl obviously complies and Barry chokes her mercilessly with his robotic hands, to Cheryl's pleasure and pain. Cheryl smashing the window in her terrified ecstasy and her subsequent happiness in the giant, hand-shaped bruise around her neck is the cherry on top of yet another classic Cheryl moment.
