Archer: EVERY Season Ranked Worst To Best
7. Season Six
After a brief break from the normal run of the show, Archer returns to its spy caper roots with Season Six. As a season, this one has it all, from Lana and Archer's baby adventures - complete with a genuinely well-handled romantic arc - a trip to Area 51, and a journey inside a man's bloodstream. All in all, this is Archer at its most insane, bizarre, weird, and just plain nuts, but thanks to the always dependable voice cast and the focus on the groups' relationship with one another, it all kind of...fits.
Despite some solid humour and the wonderfully over-the-top scenarios we're presented with, however, this still manages to be quite a slow entry in the show's run. Some of the usual jokes are abit played out and the overall story gets a bit too stale toward the end. And as fun as Sterling and Lana's relationship is, their constant bickering and screaming makes the arc a little too exhausting at times.
That being said, audiences get to see more of Slater (Christian Slater, duh) and a slew of jokes against the CIA, which is constant fun. Also, the episode "Vision Quest", which finds the gang trapped in an elevator, is bottle episode comedy at its best, as everyone gets a chance to show off just how fundamentally insane they are.
