Archer: EVERY Season Ranked Worst To Best
6. Season Three
Archer is at its best when the characters are forced together and made to spew dialogue off of one another. Season Three has this dynamic down to a fine art thanks to episodes like the two part finale which find the ISIS team in space, fighting with wit and skill against pirates aboard a space station. It's exactly as cool and hilarious as it sounds.
It also has some great moments in regards to characterising its main players more. Audiences get to see Ray's hometown (and meet his totally weird family), get to venture further inside the coldness of Mallory after she may or may not have killed the Italian prime minister, and Archer gets to fulfil his life-long dream of fighting on top of a train.
Despite all of this and more, though, Season Three slips in the rankings for some major reasons. First off, you've got Archer and Pam's relationship, which starts off entertaining and fun but gets boring quick, offering nothing to either character by the time the end is reached. And then of course there's the return of Barry, which should have been a season highlight but ends up watching like a re-hash of earlier events.
